Livability Holidays
We provide holidays for disabled people, their families and friends at our quality, accessible accommodation. We make sure your holiday is memorable and fun. With Livability, disability is no barrier to having a great time away.
We operate two different hotel-style properties. The Promenade in Minehead, with its seafront location, is a popular choice. It has 11 bedrooms and is famed for traditional cream teas served in their prize-winning garden. The West Shore in Llandudno has fantastic views over the West Shore Bay. There are 17 thoughtfully adapted bedrooms and is situated at the foot of the Great Orme. Both these properties have a three diamond or three star grading and have attained category one status under the original Tourism For All National Accessibility Scheme.
Livability Holidays also provide self-catering accommodation in a variey of locations. You can stay in large or small properties in a variety of sttings - from seaside to countryside, there are bungalows in Ambleside, Bracklesham Bay, Selsey Bill and Clacton-On-Sea. We also have large houses in Felpham, Bognor Regis, Weston-Super-Mare and Weymouth, which are ideal for accommodating large families or small groups.
Livability has been created through the merger of John Grooms and the Shaftsbury Society, and we are part of this new Christian-based charity whose mission is to made a positive difference to the lives of people affected by disability and disadvantage by providing a range of nationally recognised services and campaigning for change.
Livability Holidays aims to fulfil this objective by offering high quality facilities and services in barrier free environments in a range of holiday venues. Our core aims are quality, access and choice.
We are pleased to work in partnership with other disability charities that provide accessible accommodation under the banner Holidays for All.
